Kerachut beach
Kerachut is a beach in Penang National Park, which is led by dirt trails and suspension bridges through jungle hills and ravines.

Beach description
The beachline is covered with white sand. Sea descent is flat, the bottom is sandy. The sea is calm, almost without waves. The beach is quite crowded, as it is relatively close to the park entrance compared to other beaches. Showers, toilets, camping are equipped. Kerachut is suitable for swimming, sunbathing, scuba diving, snorkeling and diving. The coastal waters are distinguished by the diversity and underwater world beauty. You can see laminarias, gorgon corals thickets, colorful tropical fish.
Near Kerachut beach is one of the main reserve attractions- meromictic lake with two immiscible layers of different temperatures water. Below is a layer of warm sea water leaked from the sea, above - a cooler layer of fresh water from several coastal sources.
From September to February on Kerachut, green sea and olive turtles crawl to leave eggs in the sand. In the jungle, approaching the shore, inhabit monkeys of different species, warns and small lizards, as well as a variety of birds and insects. There is a nursery for turtles, which contains individuals of different ages and sizes.
When is it better to go
There are no sudden changes in temperature on the beaches of Malaysia's and possible to relax on the islands all year round. There is no particular season of rains and winds, precipitation is distributed depending on the month of the year and the region of the country.
