Beach description
Batibou Beach is surrounded by green hills, and there are tall palm trees with spreading crowns, under which you can hide from the sun. The beach cover is sandy. Beige sand with bright blue waters of the Caribbean Sea creates an amazing landscape. The length of the beach is 300 meters of the Caribbean coast.
The beach is usually deserted, since the road to it is not the easiest one. You can get it by tall cars and SUVs. The beach is located in a quiet bay, so the waves and wind are in this part of Dominica quite rarely.
Batibou Beach attracts tourists with the opportunity to explore the coral reef, which is located very close to the coast, so the bulk of visitors are lovers of snorkeling and diving. By the way, this beach is quite shallow, and the depth increases smoothly.
When is it better to go?
The average temperature in Dominica does not go beyond 25-30 degrees all year round. From June to October, powerful tropical showers are washed down the island, so iti s better to choose a different time of the year for a trip.
