Shoab beach
This beach is located on the western top end of Socotra Island. It stretches along the small bay of the Gulf of Aden, which, when viewed from a height, is practically of a regular drop-shaped form. The beach is enclosed by a national park from the east, and therefore, if desired, it is possible to meet completely unique animals; in the wet period - primarily butterflies.

Beach description
The beach consists of fine white sand, which is the remains of large limestone rocks. It is enclosed by dark cliffs, which are very steep in some places. Also, some large rocks are located directly around the sand, forming a kind of shadow. Very rarely, a little farther from the coast on the slope there may be greenery, represented primarily by herbs and small shrubs.
The water on the beach is warm, there is almost no wave, winds from Africa, from the west rarely blows on the island, and therefore they do not catch the wave. The depth of the coastline slowly increases, the bottom consists of the same sand, as on land. It is rare places, where there are clusters of rocks or coral. More often it can be seen closer to the edges of the beach.
A completely tolerable road leads to the beach through the main part of the island .
When is it better to go?
To visit Yemen, the periods from April to May and from September to October are recommended, when neither heat, nor sandstorms, nor frost will bother you.
