The beach is located near the center of the old town in a picturesque place, near the Rimonim Galei Kinneret hotel, hence the name of the beach.
You can come here with children, this beach is very popular due to its proximity to the center. There is a car park near the beach, but it is paid. The coastal strip of the public beach is not well maintained. The coastline is a large pebble and natural heaps of huge boulders, it looks beautiful, but not very convenient for rest. Meanwhile, many locals and tourists enjoy swimming here. We bought, sunbathed, that's, in principle, that's all. There are no water activities here. Don't forget to bring a beach towel and special beach shoes to help you get into the water. Water attractions are available near the city pier, which is north of the beach.

If you are a guest of the Rimonim Hotel, then it has a small fenced private landscaped area close to the coastline. There are well-groomed green lawns, a coastal strip strewn with comfortable small pebbles, umbrellas with thatched roofs.
The fence does not at all interfere with the view from the side of the hotel territory; it is quite low, stylish and aesthetic, consists of several horizontally stretched metal cables fixed on metal posts. On the territory of the hotel's private beach, you can comfortably sit in a sun lounger or gazebos on the shore and enjoy the most beautiful views of the Kinneret Lake.
Disadvantages
The cleanliness of the public beach leaves much to be desired, in principle, as elsewhere in Tiberias.
The territory of Rimonim Beach is freely accessible, however, the hotel's private beach is open to the public only during the beach season (daily from 9:00 to 17:00 from April to October). Lifeguard services are closed on Yom Kippur and the beach is closed.
How to get there
Since Rimonim Beach is located near the old city, you can easily walk here, the beach is located between the monastery and the hotel of the same name at the address: Eli'ezer Kaplan Blvd 1, Tiberias, Israel, along Route 90 from the southern entrance to the city. Finding the beach is quite simple - just be guided by the Monastery.
