Fiji — paradise in the Pacific
Fiji is an amazing place that is lost in the middle of the vast Pacific Ocean. Azure waters, picturesque bays, snow-white sandy beaches, tropical islands - this is the heavenly delight called Fiji. The Fiji Islands are one of the few that have not yet been touched by civilization at all, so they are great for an exotic vacation.
The Fiji group of islands includes about 300 islands of various sizes. They attract tourists with clear water, clean reservoirs, green forests, wonderful nature, exotic lagoons that shimmer with different colors.
The inhabitants of the islands are always happy to treat travelers who come to visit them, so local hotels here are distinguished by an excellent level of service.
Viti Levu is the largest of all the islands of Fiji, which is located in the western part. The air gates of the country and all the big cities are located here.
Labasa is the largest city on Vity Levu.
All local residents work on sugar cane plantations that surround the city from all sides. If there are practically no historical sights in Labas, then they are on a small neighboring island called Nukubati. Amazing coral sand in the middle of snow-white beaches attracts all romantics here. The colonial style of the Nukubati resort area deserves attention.
The peculiarities of the island can be considered not only sights, but also black volcanic formations. Nandi is also quite a big city considering the size of the country. If we talk about the tourist component, then the city is completely unsuitable for this. The Hindu Temple of the Southern Hemisphere is Nandi's calling card. Despite all its unsuitability, it is here that the most luxurious beach in the country is located - Natadola Beach.
If you go east from the city of Nandi, you can get to the villages that are located near the highlands of Nusori. These villages wonderfully showcase the distinctive traditional Fijian style of house building. Travelers come to this place to admire the incredible scenery that opens up from Nusori. Vanua Levu is the second largest island in Fiji. Due to the fact that ancient traditions and its own identity have been preserved here, Vanua Levu is the most popular island among tourists.
To this day, original local tribes live here. If you want to completely retire, one of the miniature islands of southern Fiji is perfect for this. Luxury hotels, rich underwater world, coral reefs and hot sun make every traveler feel like a real Robinson Crusoe.
