Mont Choisy

Swimming on the main part of the beach is not recommended due to strong currents. Toward the end of the beach there is a small area that is protected by rocks where you can swim. The beach has endless white sand to relax on. If you feel like walking, there are several excellent hiking trails nearby, including the trail to Le Bouchon.

Gris Gris

This is the most beautiful beach in Mauritius and the southernmost point of the island, which is surrounded by rocky steep cliffs. The beach is not known as a place to relax, but offers pleasant coastal walks and views of the breaking waves. The currents are strong, but there are secluded places on the rocks that are popular for diving into the water.

Riviere de Galets

This is perhaps the most unique beach in Mauritius, as you won't find the typical soft white sand here. La Preneuse
