Beach description
People come to the resort to sunbathe and relax. It is not recommended to swim in the ocean because of strong current. There is yellowish sand and stones on the coast. The views are picturesque, the beach is divided by a shallow Black River, where you can sometimes see dolphins. There are no reefs in the vicinity, so strong winds blow and 2-meter waves rise here. These are excellent conditions for surfing or windsurfing, so Tamarin is a resort for real extreme sportsmen and fans to observe the element.
You can reserve a room at the hotel located on the coast. The infrastructure is well developed, there are cafes, restaurants, shops on the beach and at hotels for vacationers. Tamarin Bay is one of the main attractions of the west coast of Mauritius island.
