The resort is located on the east coast of Mauritius. The coast is sandy, the sea floor is rocky. The coastline is long and wide, there is a casuarina grove along the perimeter of a deserted beach, in the shade of which vacationers hide from the scorching sun. The length of Belle Mare is 2 km, the nearest settlement is Poste de Flacq in the north of the island.
You can get to the beach from the airport by taxi or by bus number 236. The ticket price for public transport is 20 rupees. There is a golf club of the same name with 18 holes in the territory of one of the hotels, next to Belle Mare. Fans of outdoor activities visit the Ile Aux Cerfs island, walk along sugarcane fields, vegetable plantations, and orchards. You can look around the area and enjoy the panorama of the resort from a convenient observation deck.
