The best beaches in Chile

Bahia Inglesa is one of the most beautiful places on the coast of Chile. Here, for a beach holiday of tourists and local residents, a maximum of opportunities has been created.

The Vina del Mar beaches are located on the coast of a famous Chilean resort of the same name, which is the third biggest city in the country. The Vergara promenade stretches along the lengthy coastline with the El Norte, Acapulco, Caleta Abarca, Las Salinas and Playa del Sol beaches, and the liveliest part of the resort, full of restaurants, parties, night clubs and fashionable hotels, is located behind it. The most prosperous city of the coast is known for its colonial architecture, large amount of museums and monuments and the unique national colorfulness.

Antofagasta is one of the biggest seaports and industrial centers of Chile, located in the north of the country. The beach is well-known for its amazing beaches, with their overall length being over 20 km. Some of them are located in the town, others - on the shore of the south suburbs of Antofagasta and on the Mejillones peninsula.

Zapallar Beach is located on the territory of the resort of the same name in Petorca province of Valparaiso. The Rambla pathway stretches along the coast, with residential quarters full of snow white houses and villas surrounded by lush gardens located beyond it. The resort is surrounded by a ring of tall picturesque hills covered in lush tropical greens.

The coastline of Easter Island, also known as Rapa Nui, is a conglomeration of unreachable sharp rocks, with some open spots that let you see flat sandy areas. That's how the natural beaches of the legendary island located in the south-eastern part of the Polynesian triangle in the Pacific Ocean look. Right now it's not a very popular place among tourists, but those who did visit it say that Easter Island beaches are as good as the much more well-known Maldives or Hawaii. Anakena, Ovahe and Pea beaches, along with the volcanic pools, are considered to be the best places to visit. The island itself was formed as a result of several powerful volcanic eruptions.

Algarrobo Beach, located in the bay in San-Antonio province of Valparaiso, is especially popular among tourists due to its calmer and warmer ocean when compared to other locations on the coast.

El Laucho is one of the best beaches of Arica town, in the north of the country.

Pichidangui Beach, surrounded by picturesque hills, lush gardens and olive groves, is located on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, in the resort of the same name in Choapa Province. There is no air or water pollution in this region, which is why ecotourism is particularly popular here.

The beaches of Pichilemu in Cardenal Caro province are considered to be some of the best place for surfing and calm vacations on the bosom of nature.

Playa Brava Beach is located in the outskirts of Iquique city, close to the sand dunes also known as Dragon Mountains.

Cavancha Beach is located on the coast of Iquique seaport in the Iquique province of Tarapaca. The enormous sandy beach is one of the main sights of the city.

Portales Beach is located in Vina del Mar resort, among small rocky bays and sandbanks. Due to its unique landscape, Portales is itself unique amongst other beaches of the resort.

Renaka Beach is located on the shore of the town of the same name, in the northwest of Valparaiso.

San Alfonso del Mar is an elite resort in Algarrobo, famous for the biggest pool in the world, shaped like a lagoon.
