Choroni is a small town on the northern coast of Venezuela, approximately halfway between Valencia and Caracas, west of the country's capital. Playa Puerto Cruz is a sandy beach about 1 km long, located on Margarita Island, near Pedro Gonzalez. You can get there by ferry from Cumana and Puerto La Cruz or by ship from Caracas.
Bahia de Cata is a large sandy beach located in Cata village in Aragua state, near Mariara and El Limon. You can get to it from Maracay, the state capital, by car in 40-60 minutes. Bahia de Carta is surrounded by a coconut grove on all sides. The area of the sea near the coast is shallow, often with light waves. The beach is popular with locals who come here with their children, so sometimes it is crowded.
It is located on the Macanao Peninsula, you can get to it by bus or taxi from Porlamar, it takes about an hour. Cayo Playuelita beach - a small island beach in Morrocoy marine park, located near Tucacas. Playa Punta Brava is a part of the territory of the National Park Morrocoy. It is the only beach in the region connected to the mainland by a bridge. The most convenient to get to it is from Tucacas, taking a walk on foot or driving a car. At the entry to the beach, you have to pay a fee.
Cayo Muerto Beach is located on a small island near the resort town of Chichiriviche, which is part of the Morrocoy National Marine Park. Beautiful landscapes and crystal clear, calm water attract many visitors here, especially in the high season - from December to March.
