Mero beach
Playa Mero Beach is located on Cayo Playa Mero Island, part of Morrocoy National Park. You can get to it by boat from Tukakase. Relaxing on the beach, visitors have the opportunity to snorkel, swim and sunbath.

Not Without Reason, Mero is among the top ten beaches in Venezuela. Visitors are surrounded by picturesque mangrove forests and groves with coconut palms, fine white sand and a clean calm sea with a relatively large shallow and sandy bottom. This beach is not visited by noisy companies, so anyone looking for privacy will love it.
For a comfortable beach holiday, you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as cafes where you can have a snack. There are no hotels on the island, so visitors will need to return to the mainland and take a room from one of the hotels in Tukakas.
When is the best time to go?
Venezuela was lucky with its geographical location: hurricanes and tornadoes almost do not pass through the territory of this country, and thanks to the subequatorial climate, the temperature does not fall below 20 and does not rise above 27 degrees all year round. The best time to visit Venezuela is from November to May, during the dry season.
