Mar del Plata beach
Located approximately 400 kilometers south of Argentina's capital, this quaint town is not only a bustling fishing hub but also a haven for beach lovers. The city center boasts an array of sandy shores, including the expansive Playa Grande, situated just north of the main port. Another notable stretch is the lengthy spit that originates at the pier, skirting the fishing port and extending southward for about five kilometers. This continuous beachfront is known by various names, yet it seamlessly transitions from one beach to the next without distinct demarcations. From north to south, the beaches include Playa El Ángel (Angel Beach), Playa del Mar de Puerto (Port Sea Beach), Ibiza, Playa Mariano (Mariano Beach), Playa Guillermo (William Beach), Playa Beach (redundantly named as 'Beach Beach'), and South Beach. Each offers a unique charm, inviting visitors to explore and enjoy the coastal allure of Mar del Plata.
