Beach description
The grainy yellow sand combined with emerald water and the heat of the sun make your time on Villa Gesell well spent at a heaven-like location. The descent is smooth, seaweed is rarely encountered on the sea bottom. The waves here are low, which means that the water is clean. Shady forests and endless sandy dunes are located near the beach.
Restaurants were built along the shoreline, and a lighthouse, located in the middle of the forest in a nature reserve, attracts tourists with its size. Villa Gesell holds annual family-oriented festivals, although just a few years ago they were loud rock festivals. Unlike Pinamar, Villa Gesell is a cheap and accessible resort for tourists and locals alike. Rescue workers guard the beach, so it's safe to go on a vacation here.
One of the main sights of the beach is a long wooden pier that goes far into the sea. Local fishermen frequently come here to catch trout, sea bass and bream. The pier is also often chosen as a backdrop for romantic and family photos.
When is the best time to go?
Since Argentina is located in the southern hemisphere, winter and summer change places, so the most favorable time for visiting beach resorts is from November to May.
