Beach description
White sandy beaches cover a wide territory. The beaches in this part of Argentina are shallow and smooth. The sea is usually calm, but the Atlantic can bring some high waves during windy weather. Water color changes from turquoise to blue during these periods, gradually turning to golden with pearl shades. It's typically sunny here, at the shore of the Atlantic Ocean in Argentina.
Mar de Ajo attracts the majority of its visitors with its ship cemetery. The remains of various ships are visible during low tides. The farm of Maria Lucretia is also a major sight that serves as a kind of a zoo where tourists can see various animals. Bicycle riding, extreme water sports and beach sports are developed in the town.
When is the best time to go?
Since Argentina is located in the southern hemisphere, winter and summer change places, so the most favorable time for visiting beach resorts is from November to May.
