Renaka Beach is located on the shore of the town of the same name, in the northwest of Valparaiso.

Beach description
The beach is covered in grainy white sand. The descent is smooth and the sea bottom is sandy, but the high waves and cold water will be major obstacles if you want to swim. The wind rises quite often as well.
The beach is popular among locals and tourists. Young tourists who like surfing often come here, as there are perfect conditions for windsurfing, kitesurfing and sup surfing here. A campus is located near the beach, and its inhabitants make the majority of the beach's guests. The area is equipped with all the needed conveniences. Sunbeds, umbrellas, showers and toilets are all available here. Numerous cafes, restaurants and night clubs operate on the promenade.
A large apartment block, consisting of villas, cottages, hotels, guest houses etc., is located near the coast.
When is it better to go
The beach season in Chile begins in October and ends in March. Do not forget that the Peruvian current (Humboldt Current) prevents a full beach holiday, as it carries cold streams from Antarctica along the coastline of South America.
