Bain Boeuf beach

Bain Boeuf is a calm, well-maintained beach located on the northern coast of Mauritius, near the town of Pereybere.

Beach description

For vacationers there are observation platforms, benches, showers, toilets, locker rooms and parking area on the beach. Bain Boeuf's undoubted advantage is palm groves, in the shade of which tourists hide from the scorching sun. There is snow-white fine sand on the beach, the slope is flat, the ocean is turquoise and warm. The place is suitable for families with small children. On the coast there is a rental point for umbrellas and sunbeds at affordable prices; launchs, boats are parked on the shore. The view of the ocean and the beach is picturesque and breathtaking.
Bain Boeuf can be translated as "beef bath." It got its unusual name from the fact that in the distant past, cows and other livestock were washed in the territory of the current resort. Today, you can see only tourists and locals on the beach. Pastures served as the foundation for new buildings. Bain Boeuf is an unusual beach where tourists from all over the world go to relax comfortably at the refreshing grove and enjoy the birdsong.

When is it better to go

Mauritius – is an island of volcanic origin, on the territory of which a humid tropical climate reigns. The best time for tourism  – is the Mauritian summer, which continues from September to March. During this period, the air warms up to +31 degrees, at night – up to +23 degrees. In the central part of the island, the air temperature is a couple of degrees lower than off the coast of the ocean. It rains all year, more precipitation falls from December to April.
