Canary Islands - eternal spring
The Canary Islands is a Spanish territory that is the center of tourism in Europe. The year-round average temperature on these islands is 25°C. Everything blooms and bears fruit throughout the year. On the beaches of the Canary Islands, you can not only bask in the gentle rays of the sun, but also engage in water sports.
Despite the fact that the Canary Islands belong to the same group and are close to each other, they are quite different.
They are united by beaches and volcanoes, as well as unique nature. The longest and best white sand beaches are located on the islands of Fuerteventura, Lanzarotte and Gran Canaria. The coasts of La Palma and Tenerife are steep and high, despite this, there are also beautiful beaches with black volcanic sand. On the island of Tenerife, some beaches are covered with golden sand brought from the Sahara.
The islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife have a well-developed tourism and entertainment industry. On the island of Fuerteventura, almost the entire territory is occupied by waterless hills and beaches. This resort attracts tourists who like a secluded and relaxing holiday. In addition, this island is constantly blown by the winds and therefore is the center of European windsurfing. Due to the waves and wind, swimming, especially on the west coast, can be difficult.
Lanzarotte is the most volcanic Canary Island. Vacationers come here to relax on the stunning beaches and admire the unique volcanic landscapes.
The island of La Palma, unlike Fuerteventura and Lanzarotte, is surrounded by greenery. In fact, this island is a huge mountain, with bright vegetation, which descends in ledges into the ocean. The beaches here are secluded small bays.
Among the inhabitants of Russia, the island of Tenerife is the most popular. There are two different pronounced climatic zones. The mountain range divided the resort into two parts. The northern part is constantly wet and green, while the southern part is sunny and dry. Tenerife has many excellent hotels, restaurants, bars and shops. There is an active nightlife.
Gran Canaria has the largest sandy beach in the archipelago. The most popular and equipped resorts are located in this resort. These are Playa del Inglés and San Agustin. In the villages of Puerto de Morgan and Puerto Rico, you can enjoy active water recreation: yachting, windsurfing, fishing, etc.
