Kypri beach
Kypri is in a quiet location above the bay of Kypri. You can get here, following from Gavrio, the main port of the island, to Batsi, a modest village, or in the opposite direction. Kypri beach is approximately in the middle between them. The southwestern part of Andros is protected from constant winds, the coast is covered with fine silky sand, which is pleasant to walk along, build castles from it.

Public transport makes any places within reach, but for greater mobility it is better to rent an individual vehicle.
When is the best time to go?

The Greeks have a charming habit of decorating with blooming geraniums not only a house or porch. Multi-colored pots accompany everywhere: they are grouped at the gates, on the paths, which creates a very festive mood. There is no rumble of cars, no wind, typical for the opposite coast of Andros and Greece as a whole.
There are no large number of tourist sites. All establishments serving tourists are located near the beach. Here are hotels, apartments, small studios - housing that meets any requirements. The service is at a high level, the owners of any establishment try to provide maximum attention, the atmosphere is very homely, they take care of the guests in a family way.
200 meters from the beach is Andros Luxury House, 3,5*. The hotel is newly built, equipped with high-quality furniture, household appliances and, important for tourists, very comfortable beds. A large selection of the freshest products is always ready for breakfast, and the owner gives each room a fruit basket. Guests have the opportunity to observe the Aegean Sea from their spacious furnished terrace.
To visit a bar or cafe, you need to go 200-300 m from the hotel. Nearby there is a bus stop with which you can drive 3-4 km to neighboring towns to visit the sights or taverns with restaurants and large shops.
Those who do not want to stay in one place can go behind the island for impressions to get acquainted with the thousand-year-old monasteries, castles and look at the rivers built up with water mills. For such a trip, you only need a full tank in an SUV and a supply of food for a picnic. If fishing kayaks occur in one of the bays, you should agree on a fish reserve. Local fishermen cook it on the grill to perfection.
