The beach is located near Agios Nikoalos in the village of Faros, so it is a popular place for vacation for urban residents and residents of nearby villages. The beach is also popular among foreign tourists, and it could not have been otherwise. Its crystal clear waves and perfect water temperature are out of competition compared to the nearest beaches in the area.
This is a long sandy and pebble beach that stretches along the whole village, as well as smoothly bends around the northern tip of the island. Its large area is another advantage for vacationers:
- first of all, there is plenty of room for everyone, even if someone sleeps before noon;
- secondly, you can always find a secluded place if you want peace and quiet;
- thirdly, there are always a lot of people on the beach, so if you are looking for dating, you'll definitely find them.
It is a shallow area with a flat, gentle bottom. It is a comfortable place to rest with children and the elderly. They will feel confident on the water and on the land. There are no waves at large near the shore. A light breeze creates a small surface that is sufficient for beginning windsurfers, but at the same time does not cause discomfort to other vacationers.
When is the best time to go?

As for outdoor activities, a volleyball net is stretched on the beach. Fishing enthusiasts will also have something to do - small boats and yachts moored at the short pier, where you can go out to sea and enjoy leisurely fishing. To recharge with the drive of the sea we recommend renting windsurfing equipment or a kayak. Instructors are usually always near tourists, so it is in Faros that you can make your debut, even if you had never stood on the board before. At least everything has something to do with it - usually at the peak of the season there are many who want to conquer the waves of Hellas.
