Ganema beach
Ganema is a large beautiful beach on the south coast of Serifos, 7 km from Livadi and 12 from Hori. There are two ways to get to it: by car, and then on foot, or sailing on a yacht.

Ganema Beach is situated on Kutalas Bay coast. One half of it is covered with light sand, another, with large white stones. Tamarisks grow along the beach. They bring pleasant shadow even when it is very hot. By protruding deep into the firm land, the sea makes the beach look like a horsehoe. Soft tide with slightly sloping entry and gradual depth increase makes this beach very convenient for swimming. Only such days when strong winds rise high waves are the exclusion. At this time, it's better not to enter water and, even taking sun baths on the beach, it's better to stay closer to the rocks.
Ganema is a desert beach promising calm and relaxed recreation. On the beach territory, there is no tourist infrastructure, except a parking lot located nearby, and two restaurants with local food. While spending vacations on Ganema, you can swim, take sun baths, engage in sailing, and walk along the beach. Beside the beach, tourists have a possibility to visit a cave with stalactites situated westwards from Ganema, and authentic fishermans villages and ports. Moreover, a couple of another beach areas worth visiting by tourists are located nearby: Kutalas and Vagia.
When is the best time to go?
Grčka - zemlja dugačke dužine od sjevera do juga, pa će se preporuke razlikovati ovisno o mjestu u koje idete. Sezona godišnjih odmora počinje u maju, a vrhunac dostiže u julu-avgustu: ima previše turista, a temperatura na južnim ostrvima dostiže 40 stepeni, što možda još uvijek ne igra ulogu na plaži, ali svakako nije pogodno za razgledavanje. Dakle, najbolje vrijeme za opuštanje u Grčkoj je kraj proljeća-početak ljeta ili septembar-oktobar.
