Pore beach
Pori is a small beach with well-developed infrastructure located in the city of Gefira. On its territory there are sun loungers and umbrellas, showers, dressing rooms, lifeguard towers. Near it there are taverns, bars, supermarkets and free parking.

The beach is characterized by a smooth depth difference, absence of large waves and strong winds. The clear water of deep blue color, the soft sandy beacheline and the bottom, ideal cleanliness along the entire shoreline, are very pleased to many tourists. From the Pori shore you can see a high cliff - the calling card of the beach, which leads to the bridge of Monemvasia.
Near Pori there are 40+ churches, 100+ ancient buildings, 10 000+unique historical artifacts. Also within the city of Monemvasia there are dozens of cafes, shops and other entertainment buildings. Within a radius of 5 km from Pori you can find the following sightseeings:
- giant acropolis;
- architectural ensemble of residential and office buildings erected in XI-XII centuries;
- a Byzantine temple located on top of a local mountain;
- an ancient mosque with an archaeological museum inside;
- elements of fortifications;
- fragments of temples from antiquity, Hellenism, and the Middle Ages.
The beach is popular among fans of antiquity and respectable people. You can reach it on foot from the neighboring town. Also you can come here by cars or taxi.
When is the best time to go?
Grčka - zemlja dugačke dužine od sjevera do juga, pa će se preporuke razlikovati ovisno o mjestu u koje idete. Sezona godišnjih odmora počinje u maju, a vrhunac dostiže u julu-avgustu: ima previše turista, a temperatura na južnim ostrvima dostiže 40 stepeni, što možda još uvijek ne igra ulogu na plaži, ali svakako nije pogodno za razgledavanje. Dakle, najbolje vrijeme za opuštanje u Grčkoj je kraj proljeća-početak ljeta ili septembar-oktobar.
