Scala Dei Turchi beach
The rocky cliff of Skala dei Turki, hanging over the Mediterranean Sea, is not inferior in grandeur to any of the seven wonders of the world. This massif consists of white limestone and marl, which under the influence of nature formed a 50-meter natural staircase. At the foot of the cliff and next to the city of Realmonte, there is a beach that attracts the attention of tourists from all over the world.

The sand of Scala Dei Turchi is dark yellow in color, and the water surface near the shore is clean and gives a pleasant blue. Beach guests can go snorkelling, diving and swimming. Particularly brave tourists climb the cliff and watch the stunning Mediterranean sunset from there. When rising, you need to carefully look under your feet so as not to slip on wet stones.
Scala Dei Turchi Beach has excellent restaurants where you can sample Sicilian specialties. The menu includes spaghetti with clams, fried tuna, mussel soup and sea salad.
You can get to Skala dei Turki in the summer by bus from Porto Empedocle or by private car. The beach is equipped with parking, which is better to take places early.
When is it better to go
