Barrosa beach is sandy, the sand is fine, golden and clean. The entrance is smooth and convenient, on the shore for a long time (over 20-25 m) shallow. The beach is at least 6 km long and about 100 m wide. In general, the beach is not crowded. Barrosa is popular among the locals of the island, tourists can be seen here infrequently. Spaniards come here to swim in the ocean and just have fun in nature. It is a good place for a relaxing holiday with young children. There are playgrounds for children on the beach.
In windy weather, high and long waves rise, which is typical of the ocean coast. There are showers on the beach, and there are also many hotel complexes and fish taverns nearby. You can rent a sunbed, but there are very few of them, so almost everyone comes with their own towels and umbrellas.
