Long beach
Larga is one of the most famous and popular beaches of the resort of Salou. The name translates as “long”, it is the longest beach in all of Tarragona. The proximity of urban infrastructure has not deprived Larga beach of pristine natural cleanliness and attractiveness.

A pine forest surrounds a sandy stretch that stretches along the Mediterranean Sea for 3 kilometers. The width of Larga beach is not very large, about 30 m, but it is rarely crowded because of its length. The beach is under a cliff and a hill covered with greenery. Here is a convenient gentle entry into the sea with a sandy bottom and a gradual increase in depth. Wind and waves almost never happen. There are always fewer visitors to this beach than to other city promenades; it is ideal for families with children.
Larga Beach is not only a stretch of excellent coast with fine soft sand and clear water. It has everything you might need while relaxing by the water. There are toilets, showers. You can rent:
- sun loungers and umbrellas;
- water-skis;
- catamarans.
A bar is open on the beach during high season. Larga is a city beach, so some of the hotels in Salou are located in close proximity to it. Other hotels are easily accessible.
