Vao Beach beach

Playa del Vao is the city beach of Vigo, which is located about 5 km from the city center. The coast here is covered with pure white sand, and the sea is unusually clear, deep turquoise. The surroundings of the beach are surrounded by greenery, so on the shore you can settle in the natural shade of trees. Rocky cliffs add charm to the coast, but do not interfere with a comfortable entry into the water. It is very clean, but crowded in season. The beach is popular with locals who vacation here with their whole families, and with young active tourists spending time in sports games on the coast.

On the beach there is parking, restaurants are working. There are places for sports on the beach (football, volleyball). In the area of the beach there is a fairly large selection of hotels, some of them are located less than a kilometer from the coast.
