The vast expanses of pristine white sand, emerald blue waves with necklaces of white foam, lush greenery along the edge of the coastline – this is what Radhanagar looks like. It is located on the west coast of Havelock – the largest island of the Andaman archipelago.
The sand strip curved by the crescent moon has a total length of 2 kilometers and an average width of 30 to 40 meters. Due to its impressive size and relative isolation, the beach is never crowded with vacationers. Sand, white and very fine, resembling friable powder, is one of the main treasures of Radhanagar beach. It is also famous for its convenient gentle slope.
The lush green trees that border the coastline offer tourists the opportunity to relax, enjoying the tranquility and charm of nature. A breathtaking view of the sunset will be a great end to a serene day spent on the beach.
Radhanagar is known as the best water sports venue in Andaman. Fans of diving and snorkeling are attracted by the magical world of the underwater kingdom of the Bay of Bengal – marvelous coral gardens and phenomenal volcanic terraces filled with marine life (rays, butterflies, stars, lions, crabs). However, swimming and diving are not allowed after 5 pm due to high waves during high tides, which can be dangerous.

Rest on Radhanagar beach promises to be not only calm, but also comfortable. The guests are provided with the necessary facilities for this:

- a few eateries.
Before the beach is full of souvenir shops and clothing stores; locals also sell coconuts here. Cafes, pizzerias and restaurants are located within walking distance from Radhangar, where you can enjoy Indian, Italian or Mexican delicacies. Most restaurants include freshly prepared seafood, a cocktail menu and chilled beer.
Where to stop
Camping is the only accommodation right on the beach. There is no restaurant, but guests have access to beach eateries. If there are no places in the campsite (it is better to book them in advance), you can choose one of the popular resorts near the beach. Guest rooms are air-conditioned cottages with private bathrooms. Each has a restaurant and parking, bike or car rental.
What to do
Visitors to Radhanagar beach are not lacking in entertainment. A variety of types of active leisure are available to them:
- snorkeling;

- banana, water skiing, speedboat;
- boat trip on a yacht;
- beach volleyball;
- mini tennis;
- yoga class;
