White sand beach
All the top lists of East Timor beaches mention this one. Areia Branca provides great relaxation and wonderful nature around it. A tropical heaven far from civilization.

The beach is a rather long sandy area surrounded with mountains. It is a very picturesque and secluded place. The smooth and wide beach is covered with light sand, water is transparent and very clear, Trees providing rich natural shadow grow along the beach. Ebbs here can be rather strong. The beach area has excellent snorkeling and diving conditions.
Areia Branca is located at a distance from settlements but very well equipped, at the same time. There is a small quay, tables, chairs, and summer houses are loacted on the beach, and a cafe is open nearby. The closest hotels are located in Dili.
When is it better to go
