Paya beach
Paia is a beach on the west coast of Tioman island, in the same name village between Tekek and Tioman villages. Paia can be reached from Tekek by rented bike or by boat during the tide.

The long sandy beach lies at the foot of Gunung Kaiang, the highest mountain of the island. In sea near the shore, there is a small island, which can be reached by boat or by foot at the low tide when the beach turns into long and unsightly plain, covered with stones and rubbish. Within high tide, Paya is changing.
There is one of the largest island hotels in the beach area Paya Beach SPA & Dive Resort with a landscaped beach area. There are few vacationers on Paia, mostly hotel guests and easy-going tourists from different parts of the island. There are few infrastructure facilities on the beach. It is not comfortable to rest with children.
When is it better to go
Nema naglih promjena temperature na plažama Malezije i moguće je opustiti se na otocima tijekom cijele godine. Nema posebne sezone kiša i vjetrova, padavine se raspoređuju ovisno o mjesecu u godini i regiji zemlje.
