Winding Bay beach

Winding Bay is a wonderful four-kilometer beach offering its visitors secluded paradise rest in a quiet bay with the same name. The coast stretches as a curved line, and the sea washing it is calm. The line of trees separates the beach from the road. Due to plenty of algae and some stones on the sea bottom, it is poorly suitable for scuba-diving, but, nevertheless, this place is excellent to take sun baths and swim near the shore.

Even in the high season, Winding Bay Beach remains desert. Its main visitors are hosts and guests of the neighboring villas. This place will be appreciated by people escaping the city fuss and dreaming of unity with nature with the following purposes:

• observe Hawksbill turtles in natural environment;
• see asteroids, sharks, redfish, and other fauna;
• to take sun baths on clear pink sand;
• walk along the ocean;
• held a picnic in a romantic place.

You can get to Winding Bay by driving from southern or northern part of the island. When you park your car under the trees, you will see that you have to walk only several steps to the beach.

When is it better to go?

Odmor na Bahamima dobar je u bilo koje doba godine, ali užurbana sezona je u periodu od sredine novembra do maja. Bahami su prilično nisko postavljeni u odnosu na nivo mora, pa vjetar puše u zimskim mjesecima, ali je nježan i trezveno ugodan. Temperatura zraka je od kraja jeseni do početka ljeta između 27-29 stepeni. Putujući s djecom, bolje je doći u jesenjim mjesecima, dok je proljeće prikladnije za nove emocije i mirno uživanje u suncu - zimi.
