Cable beach

Cable Beach is a 4-kilometer beach situated in 15 minutes of driving from Nassau city. It has 5 importnat advantages:
- soft snow white sand, nice to the feel;
- azure waters, both clear and transparent;
- safety - the local water area is enclosed with beacons. Rescuers are on duty on the beach;
- cleanness- the territory of cable Beach is cleaned several times a day. There are no sharp objects, sea urchins, or glass here;
- perfect ecology - there are no industrial enterprises, wide roads, or large cities near the beach. Which is very good for the air cleanness.
Shallow water, smooth depth increase, small or medium waves are typical for Cable Beach. Here, you can enjoy family recreation, or learn to swim. The beach is loved by people who enjoy diving, snorkeling, sunbathing, and hiking.
Luxuriant palms grow along the beach, and their shadow helps tourists to hide from summer heat. Another decoration of Cable is its wooden pier, 100 meters long. It provides a marvellous view of the ocean, marine vessels and massive boulders rising above the still waters.

Interesting fact: The beach received its name from a cable line providing connection between the bahamas and Florida.
When is the best time to go?
