Sock beach
Meia Beach, awarded the Blue Flag, is located on the west coast of the Algarve in the city of Lagos. A long line of high sand dunes with steep slopes stretches along the beach.

The beach line is about 5 km long, covered with clean, light sand and stretches from the delta of Odiáxere and Arão rivers to Alvor Beach. Surfers and thrill seekers often gather here. Kiteboarding, parasailing, water skiing are available. At the eastern end of the beach, which is quite deserted, there is a nudist zone.
