Pangaimotu Island beach
Pangaimotu – is a small touristic island, located not far from Tongatapu in the Kingdom of Tonga, near the capital of Nuku'alofa.

The shore is covered with fine white sand. The decent to the water is gentle, sea is clean, transparent and warm. Exotic lovers and calm holiday connoisseurs come here. There is only one hotel, but most visitors come here only for a day. They come by themself by water taxi or with an excursion. The tour with a guide in the afternoon will cost 30$. The boat goes every hour. The journey time is 15min.
Pangaimotu's attraction: half sunken ship, located within the resort. This is the only place which works on Sundays. Diving, snorkeling and fishing are popular here.
When is it better to go
Plaže arhipelaga Tonga imaju pretežno vlažnu tropsku klimu. Na sjevernim ostrvima nema oscilacija temperature, a na jugu su - unutar 5 stepeni. Februar - je najtopliji mesec, tokom dana temperatura raste do 30 - 32 stepena Celzijusa. Između jula i septembra je svežije. Kišna sezona traje od novembra do aprila. Moćni tropski cikloni razvijaju se u ovom trenutku na arhipelagu, vrijeme je olujno. Najbolje vrijeme za rekreaciju na plažama Tonga je period od maja do oktobra.
