Galgibaga beach
Galgibaga is a semi-wild beach in a conservation area on the south coast of Goa, 75 km from Dabolim Airport.

A wide sandy coast with a length of more than 1.5 km on the southeastern side is limited by the mouth of the Galgibaga River, and on the north is adjacent to the Talpona Beach. Rescuers are on duty on the territory. There are no infrastructure facilities, with the exception of a few eateries. The descent into the water is steep, the bottom is sandy, immediately off the coast deep. Swimming is dangerous due to high waves and undercurrents forming near the river mouth. It is often windy. To relax on the beach of Galcibaga, you should bring rugs and umbrellas, food and drinks with you.
Galgibaga is a nesting site for olive turtles, which is protected year-round. Noisy entertainment is prohibited on the beach, there are no boat rental stations. Masonry is transferred to safe places, inaccessible to predators and high tides, and enclosed. Employees of the reserve transfer hatched cubs to the water.
