Kamala beach

The shore is covered with fair sand which is comfortable to walk barefoot. The entrance to the water on the Southern part is gentle, but the water there is dirty, stony, and the polluted river flows in. In the Central and Northern parts, where there are all the infrastructure, the entrance is more steep. The bottom is sandy and rocky. Because of the peculiar location of the bay and reefs, high waves form. It's comfortable on Kamala during windless weather. Close to the Casuarina grove there are several rows of sunbeds with umbrellas, visitors can also sit on a towel under their umbrella. The beach is not crowded. The main contingent of tourists here are older people, sometimes families with children can be seen, very rare - youth.

Along the coastline, under the trees and palms, goes a promenade with several cafes and big number of shops. On the beach are some hotels with own well-furnished areas, open only for hotel guests.

When is it better to go

Najbolje vrijeme za odmor na plaži u Phuketu traje od novembra do aprila ili maja. Vrijeme u ovom periodu je sunčano, mirno, more mirno, gotovo da nema valova. Vrhunac sezone na plaži pada u prosincu, kada se brojnim velikim međunarodnim praznicima dodaju aktivnosti na vodi. Cene avio karata, smeštaja, usluga, hrane i prevoza su najviše.
