Naithon beach
Naithon is a small picturesque beach on the North-Western part of Phuket, located on the territory of National Park. Tourists can get to the beach by taxi or rented car using GPS. Public transport doesn't go to the beach.

Beach line is 1km long and 50m wide and covered with fine yellowish sand. The beach is surrounded by hills covered with thick tropical greenery. Close to the sandy strip, a thicket of casuarinas rises, casting a soft, diffused shadow. The entrance to the water is flat, and the bottom is sandy and stony. There are quite deep hollows. From May to October there are high waves here, storms, but during the high season the sea is calm and without waves. The beach is surrounded on both sides by rocky ledges, where divers and snorkelers like to dive. The Central part has the best places for swimming. During low tides the sea goes far from the shore.
There are paid sunbeds and umbrellas on the territory. Part of the beach equipment is in the shade of Casuarina trees. Showers with fresh water. Toilets can be found in a cafe. The beach is popular, crowded during the high season. Among the visitors a lot of families with children and old people. A few youth, because of lack entertainments. There are cafes, kitesurfing school, massage, diving and scuba diving equipment rental agencies.
Along the road, behind the shore line, are several shops, cafes, tents and a small Thai food market.
When is it better to go
Najbolje vrijeme za odmor na plaži u Phuketu traje od novembra do aprila ili maja. Vrijeme u ovom periodu je sunčano, mirno, more mirno, gotovo da nema valova. Vrhunac sezone na plaži pada u prosincu, kada se brojnim velikim međunarodnim praznicima dodaju aktivnosti na vodi. Cene avio karata, smeštaja, usluga, hrane i prevoza su najviše.
