Great Harbour beach
Great Harbor translated from English means "Great Harbor". And if the names of most other points located on the British Virgin Islands hide eerie stories about pirates, then this place does not seek to deceive anyone. Here is the main starting point of the island of Jost Van Dyck, where ferries and boats depart, including in the direction of Tortola.

Descripció de la platja
A very nice the beach of the same name is situated to the east from the port: A perfect place for for visit if you don't have enough time, or money. The horseshoe-shaped beach is covered with fine and clean sand. Water entry is rather smooth, without sharp drops, or coral reefs. The sea here is clean and rather calm because strong winds blow rather seldom here but small waves can be caused by vessels passing by.
The beach itself is not very large but rather popular in people of all ages, tourists and locals due to its successful location. There are many small bars and shops near it but if you want to discover something new, take a walk to a small Methodist church with a plate on its gate: “everybody is welcome to take part”.
When is the best time to go?
