Descripció de la platja
Not big, but strikingly picturesque bay of Baie Rouge invites vacationers to enjoy the idyllic scenery. From here you can admire the elongated silhouette of the neighboring island of Anguilla for a long time. However, a stream surrounded by cliffs, where local and migratory birds like to nest, is considered a visiting card of the area. Among them you can see a bullfinch, and a blue heron, and an osprey.
Baie Rouge waters are protected from the strong influence of the Atlantic Ocean and are the best suited for snorkeling. Sometimes there are strong flows, so tourists with children should be alert. It should also be borne in mind that closer to the western part of the beach you can meet nudists.
Baie Rouge is equipped with a restaurant and snack bar. For visitors looking for a secluded place in the shade, chairs and parasols are provided. If you are going to take a walk along the beach, be sure to check out the “Dyavolskaya Dyra" or Devil's Hole - a local attraction. Your imagination will surely be struck by a deep dark abyss in the middle of a steep cliff filled with water.
When is it better to go
Otok Saint-Martin odlikuje toplo i suho vrijeme tijekom cijele godine. Jul i avgust se smatraju najtoplijim mjesecima (prosječna temperatura vazduha dostiže+ 32 ° C). U ovom karipskom kantonu možete imati godišnji odmor tokom cijele godine, međutim, glavna sezona pada na period od decembra do aprila.
