It is located in a narrow bay with the same name, which is in the southern part of Ithaki. The waters of the bay are calm and smooth - there are usually no sudden gusts of wind or waves here. Its depth is acceptable even for vacationers with children. This is an ideal place to swim as the beach is long and the swimmers have plenty of space for swimming and discovering new wild coves, which are small wild spots of sand.
The pebbles are large in the middle of the beach, but as you get farther from it, it becomes smaller and smaller until it completely turns into coarse sand. But if you plan not just to lie down, and spend time actively - take care of comfortable shoes.

There is also a beach bar in which you can not only miss a couple of glasses of beer and something stronger but also hang out at the beach party, when the sun goes down. Despite the fact that this beach is popular among families with children there is no infrastructure, as such, for children's play-time here. However, if you take a bucket, watering can, rubber ring with you, you will forget that you have children for a long time. Vacationers usually leave them right in the water (there is shallow water, so don’t worry), where the 'discoverers' make their first physical experiments.
