Vignanotica is a unique natural phenomenon on the territory of the town of Mattinata. Decoration of the coast are grandiose cliffs of white limestone. Like fantastic giants, they grew out of silver sand mixed with pebbles and thoughtfully bent over the turquoise water.

Despite the natural splendor and equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as rental canoes, catamarans and pedal boats, the beach is usually deserted and quiet. Only at the end of summer is it filled with visitors. Two private resorts provide all the necessary amenities: Toilets, showers with hot and cold water, cafes, restaurants. Rescuers are watching the safety of vacationers by the water.
Guests of Vignanotica are fascinated by boat trips, allowing you to explore the numerous sea caves along the rocky coast. Many, having first entered this world of pristine nature, lose their sense of time and space.
The easiest way to get to Vignanotica is by car on the highway connecting Vieste to Mattinata. From the guarded parking near the road, you will need to go down on foot following the signs.
