Ursa beach
A tourist gem called Ursa is located on the west coast of Portugal, north of Cabo da Roca. Those who first get to this beach are breathtaking from incredible beauty. For thousands of years, the wind and waves of the Atlantic worked on it, carving rocks and ledges of the most bizarre forms.

Ursa beach owes its name to one of the two cliffs-giants, towering in the northern part of the beach. Locals nicknamed it the Bear Rock (Rocha da Ursa), because its shape resembles a bear with a bear cub.
The indescribable charm of this wild beach is especially felt at sunset. The sun, when setting off, begins to cast long shadows on the golden sand and azure cool waters.
Getting to the beach is not that easy, it is located away from the beaten track. The path to this coastline zone (the westernmost beach in Europe), located in the Sintra Nature Park and runs along a steep rocky hill.
