Many beach
Moitas is a small beach between the Cascais and Estoril resorts. You can get to Moitas from Lisbon by train- first to Monte Estoril station, then along the promenade on foot. There are no parking near the beach.

Short sandy line runs into the stone pier stretching out into the sea. The sand is fine and clean, the water is transparent, quite calm, the bottom is sand-stony. It is often windy. Not far from Moitas there is a mansion of the XIX century made in neo-Gothic style, where the museum displays. On the mountain nearby stands Palmela fortress of the Roman period, from the observation points of which you can see Lisbon and the Lisbon Riviera.
