Jacksonville is a long and wide beach on the Atlantic Ocean shore. The beach is covered with a thick layer of light yellow sand. The water entry is shallow, the bottom is perfectly clean without algae and stones. The depth depends greatly on ebbs and flows:
- During the ebbs, Jacksonville turns into a quiet and calm beach with shallow water entry and almost full absence of waves;
- Surfers gather on the beach during the flow, waves are high and long in this period, allowing riding their crests. But even at this time, the first couple of meters from the beach are not very deep, so swimming is safe.
