Lummus Park beach
Lummus Park Beach is a long picturesque ocean coast of Miami surrounded with palm trees and other tropical vegetation. This paradise corner is situated on the eastern side of the famous Ocean Drive street. Proximity to the civilization and wonderful beach infrastructure brought it the glory of one of the best family recreation places in this locality. Lummus Park Beach is one of the most popular recreation areas on the territory of Miami. The vast park zone, including the beach, covers the area of 30 ha where you can find maximum variants for interesting recreation, beside swiming and sunbathing. Guests can enjoy parasailing, riding water ski and canoe in the ocean and bicycles along the shore and down the park tracks..
The man characteristics of Lummus Beach attracting more and more tourists here every year, the following should be noted:
- very clear turquoise waters, shallow waters by the beach and small waves, that allows to have safe recreation even with small kids;
- wide and extended coast band of soft snow white sand, so you will always find a convenient place to stay here even when the beach is crowded;
- numerous trees on the park territory that allow finding a cool shelter even during heat;
- the presence of many benches for recreation and different tracks for walking (both on feet and on bicycles).
The beautiful Lummus Beach attracts guests of ll ages, although these are mostly young people and families with kids. Many people combine the beach recreation with photoshoots in places that are well-known from popular TV shows and movies.

Infrastructure
As Lummus Park is very popular among the guests, there is no lack in comfortable conditions for recreation on the beach. Local infrastructure is very well developed here, so you can enjoy:
- the presence of public water closet and shower cabins (all buildings are built in the form of special art objects) along the entire coast;
- available rental of deck chairs, umbrellas and sling chairs on different sites of the beach, so there are no problems where to stay here, just don't forget that rentals are open until 5 PM;
- the presence of numerous children's and volleyball playgrounds, and centers for renting bicycles, rollers and water sports equipment
Near the beach, there is a parking lot but free room there can be found only early in the morning. The entire beach is guarded by beach rescuers, making recreation here the safest.
Just a few minutes away from the coast, you can find numerous cafes, bars, stores, and restaurants. There is also a beach cafe. You can stay in Dream South Beach or in Fairwind Hotel, which is only 200 meters from the beach.
