Neptune Beach is a small the beach up to two kilometers long in a quiet village with not more than 7000 inhabitants. The beach is located between the quiet Atlantic Beach and more crowded Jacksonville Beach. This coast part was named after the nearest railroad station, and before that, Neptune Beach was united with Jacksonville Beach.
Neptune Beach was recognized the perfect family recreation beach. This part of Florida has few tourists, first of all, because there are few hotels nearby. Moreover, in distinction from Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville, surfers are not frequent guests in this place; nevertheless, Neptune Beach is a place for novices to master this sport for the first time.
The beach is covered with a dense layers of light yeallow, almost white sand. Water on Neptune Beach is warm, perfectly clear and transparent, with a light blue shade that becomes more saturated closer to the horizon and fuses with the sky. The water entry is shallow, without algae and stones, but with numerous shells of various color and size scattered on the beach. This is what attracts families with kids who enjoy making their own collections of sea gifts. The waves can be high during the flow but even then, swimming is safe due to small depth.
