The bay is large, so the beach is not crowded almost for all time. This ocean area is special because it is recommended to swim here only within teh fenced area. Water inhabitants, such as crocodiles and jellyfsh, are potentially hazardous. Water is not transparent due to sand bottom. Winds are frequent on Palm Cove.
The beach has no rent of deck chairs and umbrellas, but it has water closets, shower stalls and BBQ sites. On one edge of the bay, there is a pier convenient for fishing.
Palm Cove is a popular resort, so several restaurants, cafes and stores are located in close vicinity to the beach. There is also car rent, Internet cafe and tour office.
