Solaris beach
Do not be surprised if you hear a different name for this beach. Locals call it Horse, since horses used to be bathed here from cavalry barracks nearby. The barracks have disappeared, but the habit of calling this section of the coast in such manner has remained ... The beach owes its modern name to the restaurant located also here.

This is one of the most popular beaches of Yevpatoriya, as it has a convenient location and is free. Additionally, if you add its small area (length - only 100 m) - we have a crowded beach, which is even too crowded at the peak of the season. Experienced vacationers recommend to arrive here no later than 9 a.m. to take a convenient place.
The coast itself, like the seabed, is sandy, without stones, so beach shoes are not required. The beach is not deep at all. Or at least you have to walk decently to reach a deep place. The water is clear, warm and clean, so Solaris is popular among couples with children. You can get to the beach by minibus, having reached the Tram Ring (No. 6) or the Post Office (No. 1 or No. 17). Trams do not stop right on the beach - the nearest station is "vocational school No. 36" (No. 2).
Sometimes the water becomes cloudy, but this is not pollution, but sand, which rises from the bottom because of the waves.
When is the best time to go?
Vremenski uvjeti na Krimu ovise o mjestu na kojem ćete se odmarati: dok je na južnoj obali relativno toplo i vlažno, tada na drugim mjestima može biti hladnije i suho. Period između kraja maja i uključivo prve polovine jula smatra se idealnim vremenom za izlet kada su se zrak i more već zagrijali (23-25 stepeni), ali prava vrućina još nije došla. Ako više volite toplije vrijeme, odaberite drugu polovicu jula ili početak augusta.
Infrastructure
Since the sand is fine and soft, you can save on sunbeds and bring a towel with you. Although sun loungers and parasols are also rented out here. Both adults and children experience genuine delight when jumping on local inflatable slides. You can also ride on bananas, catamarans, boats and other types of water transport.
Despite the fact that the beach is free, it’s better to take money with you. The fact is that such amenities as a shower and toilet are private, so you will have to pay for using them. In general free use - only drinking springs and changing rooms. For smokers, separate places with urns are allocated. There are plenty of regular urns on the beach.
There is a playground near the children's entrance. Their parents also will not get bored - right on the beach there are points with snacks and drinks, as well as more presentable cafes. On the entire beach is available free Wi-Fi.
