Cable beach
Cable is a popular Australian beach in Western Australia, 6 km northwest of Broome. It is a multi-kilometer line of white sand and turquoise water.

The beach is 22 km long, and is covered with with soft white sand. The beach name is "Cable" because right here, the "Broom-Java" telegraph line was laid in 1889.
Cable is a very wide sand beach area smoothly transforming into the ocean bottom. Water is clean and warm here, although, not very transparent (due to sand bottom). There is a vast shallow water area, the water entry is very comfortable. This beach site is suitable for family recreation, but it should be remembered that some beach zones are popular among nudists.
cable is equipped with hower babins and water closets. There is a cafe nearby. The main local entertainment is camel riding, so the beach visitors can buy a place in a carava for a sunrise or sunset trip.
Rather expensive hotels are located near the beach, and accommodation options of lower budget can be found in Broom. Broom city also enables the beach guests see some sights. The most popular of them include the Historical Community Museum and China Town.
