Turquoise Bay beach
Turkvois Bay has repeatedly been recognized as one of the best beaches in Western Australia for snorkeling. The beach is accessible to vacationers all year round. To get to it, you need to drive 60 km south of Exmouth. Qantas airlines deliver passengers from Perth to Exmouth in an hour and a half.

The optimal conditions for snorkeling are considered flow waves with the height of at least 1.2 m. Ningalu reef is situated several meters away from the beach. Moderate and strong currents are formed behind it, southwards and westwards from the bay. Inexperienced swimmers should take this into account in order not to tempt their fate.
Turquoise Bay is famous for its clear virgin waters washing the snow white sand beaches. In order to reach the famous snorkeling site, the beach visitors advise to walk to its southern end, and then let the current carry you northwards to the sandspit. Here, it is important to stop and not to let the water current to drag you behind the reef where you can meet teh breaking wave.
In the shoal area, the terrific experience of snorkeling is waiting for the investigator: colorful corals, turtles, squids, and numerous species of fishes (over 500) of all the possible colors. Since this wonderful place is situated in the protected zone (Ningalu Marine Park), the patrol officers ask swimmers not to touch any objects.
When is it better to go
