Ondarreta beach
Ondarreta - the second largest and most popular city beach in San Sebastian. It is adjacent to the famous La Concha beach, but not so crowded and noisy.

The beach is located in the western part of the city, in the Antiguo area. This section of the coast is large (length - 600 meters, width - 100). The beach is well protected from the wind, as it is located directly beneath Mount Igueldo and is surrounded by high hills on all sides.
Ondarreta is almost completely covered with sand, but when entering the water comes small pebbles. Waves are, but weaker than on neighboring beaches. Entering shallow water, the depth will increase gradually. In season, it is always crowded here, but the large size of the Ondarreta allows everyone to find a cozy corner on the beach.

Infrastructure
Paid showers and changing cabins are installed on the territory of Ondarreta Beach, there is also a paid rental of tents. In the center of the beach there is a small bar and buffet. Visitors to Ondarreta can engage in various sports, including beach volleyball and surfing. There are playgrounds for children here.
There are quite a few hotels near the beach. There are with 5 or 4 stars, there are more affordable options. Among tourists, small cozy guest houses are very popular.
Sights
Ondarreta - city beach, from it you can walk to most of the interesting sites of San Sebastian. In the immediate vicinity of the coast is an observation deck on Mount Igueldo, as well as the old harbor and maritime museum. From the beach you can walk to the largest attractions of the city:
- Kursaal Palace of Congresses;
- of the old city;
- Victoria-Eugenia Theater;
- Gipuzkoa Science and Technology Park.
