Chaika beach
The central beach of Adler ("The Seagull") is a first-class place in the heart of Sochi. There are beautiful landscapes, warm and clear water, +20 entertainment options. Local tourists are invited to rent water transport, go diving, parachute or swim as much as they wish. Fans of a more relaxing holiday will enjoy comfortable sunbeds, wide parasols and the best dishes of southern cuisine.

The central beach of Adler is located between the Mzmyta river and the resort “Yuzhnoe Vzmorye”. Its length is about 1 km, and its width reaches 25-30 meters. 75% of the “Chaika” area is covered with small pebbles. You can walk on it barefoot, but people with sensitive legs are advised to wear slippers.
The central part of the beach is dotted with sand. The beach has good ecology. Its waters are transparent, the beach is clean, and the air is free from emissions of machinery and industrial production. To ensure order, the local administration hired a large cleaning team and installed dozens of rubbish bins.
This place has the following features:
- a large number of breakwaters dividing the beach into separate zones. They can be used as a springboard for diving;
- smoking areas;
- smooth gaining depth - it starts in 5-7 meters from the beach;
- an abundance of gazebos, deck chairs and other places to relax.
"Chaika" is positioned as a place for family holiday. There are no large waves, underground flows, sea urchins and garbage. The safety of children and adults is monitored by rescue teams on duty in several towers. In the afternoon on the central beach of Adler almost no offenses are recorded. The worst thing a tourist can face is stealing things left unattended.
"Chaika" is very popular in Adler. In the summer, tens of thousands of people come here. This place remains half empty only in the early morning (before 9:00) or in the evening (after 18:00). The only exception is the extreme sections of the beach, covered with large pebbles - there is a lot of free space even at the peak of the tourist season.

Because of its location in the central part of the city, the beach is adjacent to +20 cafes, restaurants and bars. Next to it there is a karaoke club, several public gardens, a pharmacy, a gas station, communication shops, a supermarket and a shopping center.
